Apes & Babes, the brilliant acapella group from Trondheim, Norway, has for over ten years thrilled its audience with stunning vocal sounds. The group plays music from all corners - from Iranian disco, through klezmer music, Balkan-jazz and American bluegrass right through to Norwegian lullabies, folk rock and pop.

They also do covers of songs by a bunch of different artists (including Leonard Cohen and JS Bach) but totally make them their own with their fresh, original approach.
Their sounds range from raw and heavy beats to velvet soft moods, all created by eight great voices. Instruments are ignored and Apes & Babes has some of the best - and definitely the coolest - that Norway has to offer in vocal music.
